Position Overview

Power our projects as Electrician (Commercial) in Houston. You will install, maintain and test electrical and instrumentation systems to the highest safety standards. Qualified electricians and technicians from any country are warmly welcomed, with licence recognition support. Annual salary: USD 55,000 – 95,000 per year (plus overtime and allowances).

Role Description

• Install, maintain and test electrical or instrumentation systems on site.
• Read and work from electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Carry out testing, fault finding and commissioning of equipment.
• Work safely with high voltage, low voltage and control systems.
• Complete inspection and test records and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers and other trades to meet project deadlines.
• Follow all electrical safety rules, isolations and permit procedures.
• Keep tools and work areas clean, safe and well organised.

Requirements & Skills

• Trade certificate and electrical licence, or equivalent instrumentation qualification.
• Practical experience in commercial, industrial or high-voltage electrical work.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and perform testing and fault finding.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, isolations and permits.
• Basic English communication skills; free language support is available.
• A strong safety record and attention to detail.
• Internationally recognised qualifications and practical experience are warmly welcomed, whatever your country of origin.

Education & Qualifications

• Trade certificate in electrical or instrumentation work.
• High-voltage switching and instrumentation certificates are highly regarded.
