Position Overview

Keep our buildings and facilities comfortable and safe as HVAC Technician in Chicago. You will install, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems on major projects. Qualified technicians from any country are warmly welcomed, with licence recognition support. Annual salary: USD 42,000 – 50,000 per year (plus overtime and allowances).

Role Description

• Install, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Read and work from mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Perform refrigerant handling, leak testing and system charging safely.
• Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Complete service records, test reports and handover documentation.
• Work safely with electrical, mechanical and pressurised systems.
• Coordinate with other trades to complete installations on time.
• Follow all safety rules and environmental procedures.

Requirements & Skills

• Trade certificate or equivalent qualification in HVAC or refrigeration.
• Practical experience installing and servicing HVAC or refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and diagnose faults.
• Knowledge of safe refrigerant handling and environmental rules.
• Basic English communication skills; free language support is available.
• A strong safety record and customer-friendly attitude.
• Internationally recognised qualifications and practical experience are warmly welcomed, whatever your country of origin.

Education & Qualifications

• Trade certificate in HVAC, refrigeration or air conditioning.
• Refrigerant handling licence is highly regarded.
