Position Overview

Take a senior leadership role as Senior Project Manager in New York, managing complex projects from planning through to completion. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, protect the programme and budget, and build lasting relationships with clients and subcontractors. International candidates with strong delivery experience are encouraged to apply. Annual salary: USD 120,000 – 180,000 per year (plus overtime and allowances).

Role Description

• Manage medium-to-large projects end to end, including programme, cost, quality and risk.
• Lead and coach project engineers, supervisors and support staff to perform at their best.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets and risk registers.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver work safely and on time.
• Prepare clear progress reports and present them to clients and senior management.
• Resolve interface issues between design, procurement and construction teams.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Support the professional development of junior team members.

Requirements & Skills

• At least 7 years of experience managing medium-to-large civil or building projects.
• Demonstrated ability to own project programmes, budgets and risk registers.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or a related field.
• Experience with contract administration and subcontractor management.
• A strong safety record and commitment to delivering quality work.

Education & Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Project management certification (PMP/Prince2) is highly regarded.
