Position Overview

Coordinate the design of major projects as Design Manager in NEOM. You will bring together engineers, architects and consultants to deliver practical, buildable designs on time. We welcome experienced design leaders from around the world and offer relocation support. Annual salary: USD 90,000 – 150,000 per year (plus overtime and allowances).

Role Description

• Manage the design process from concept through to construction-ready documentation.
• Coordinate engineers, architects and specialist consultants.
• Review designs for buildability, safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage design programmes and ensure deliverables meet project milestones.
• Resolve design issues and manage changes with clients and contractors.
• Lead design review meetings and track actions to closure.
• Ensure designs comply with local standards and project requirements.
• Mentor design team members and support international staff to settle in.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience managing design on large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture or a related field.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of local standards and construction methods.
• Experience managing design consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Internationally recognised qualifications and practical experience are warmly welcomed, whatever your country of origin.

Education & Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
• Chartered or professional registration is highly regarded.
• International degrees and registrations are recognised.
