Position Overview

Join our delivery team as Project Manager - Tunnelling in Brisbane and manage exciting construction and infrastructure works. You will coordinate people, suppliers and budgets to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard. We welcome motivated project managers from any country, with relocation support available. Annual salary: USD 120,000 – 180,000 per year (plus overtime and allowances).

Role Description

• Plan and coordinate all stages of the project, from mobilisation to handover.
• Prepare and maintain project programmes, budgets and risk registers.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to meet daily targets.
• Monitor progress, quality and safety, and take corrective action when needed.
• Communicate clearly with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Manage variations, claims and commercial reporting in line with the contract.
• Lead regular site meetings and toolbox talks with the team.
• Support a positive, inclusive and safety-first site culture.

Requirements & Skills

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (typically 8–15 years) in tunnelling and underground construction.
• Ability to prepare and manage programmes, budgets and risk registers.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Experience with contract administration and subcontractor coordination.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
• Internationally recognised qualifications and practical experience are warmly welcomed, whatever your country of origin.

Education & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Tunnelling Engineering.
• Professional registration, chartered status or relevant certifications and licences are highly regarded.
• International qualifications are recognised.
