Position Overview

Take a senior leadership role as Senior Project Manager in Sydney, managing complex projects from planning through to completion. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, protect the programme and budget, and build lasting relationships with clients and subcontractors. International candidates with strong delivery experience are encouraged to apply. Annual salary: USD 120,000 – 180,000 per year (plus overtime and allowances).

Role Description

• Manage medium-to-large projects end to end, including programme, cost, quality and risk.
• Lead and coach project engineers, supervisors and support staff to perform at their best.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets and risk registers.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver work safely and on time.
• Prepare clear progress reports and present them to clients and senior management.
• Resolve interface issues between design, procurement and construction teams.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Support the professional development of junior team members.

Requirements & Skills

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (typically 8–15 years) in construction project management.
• Demonstrated ability to own project programmes, budgets and risk registers.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with contract administration and subcontractor management.
• A strong safety record and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Internationally recognised qualifications and practical experience are warmly welcomed, whatever your country of origin.

Education & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Project Management.
• Professional registration, chartered status or relevant certifications and licences are highly regarded.
